Written by: Betty Furka Butler
Columnist Michael Smerconish in the June 30 edition complains that the president deserves better treatment. Really? I thought the people of this nation deserve better treatment.

Untimely ticket
Written by: John Christofano Butler
I’ve been a member of the Butler Cubs A.S.A. for about twenty-five years. My dad and my uncle and even my grandfather have been members at that Butler landmark going back to the 1950s. I’m not alone or special in this. That organization is full people that can say the exact same thing.

Written by: Len Schoettker Connoquenessing
Sam Hoszwa’s June 26 letter (“They blast the pope”) praises Pope Francis for speaking out strongly to defend our Earth — the only one we have — from devastating climate changes caused mostly by human activity.
