Honoring Robert Smith was easy for SRU, region
While Robert M. Smith’s retirement party on Jan. 28 honored the man who guided Slippery Rock University to major accomplishments during his nine years as president, it also provided the opportunity to reflect on how the university has been a unifying force not only for Butler County but also for the region that the university primarily serves.
