North Catholic 3, Bedford 0 — The Trojanettes made quick work of the District 5 champion, defeating the Bisons by scores of 25-20, 25-13 and 25-8 in a PIAA Class 2A quarterfinal at Hempfield Area High School.
WPIAL champion North (19-1) will face Philipsburg-Osceola, which defeated Harbor Creek 3-1, in a semifinal Tuesday.
The Trojanettes fell to P-O in a state semifinal playoff last year.
