Barbara Jean Weiser, 76, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.
Born in Sheraden, Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Robert Rose and Jean Graham Rose.
Barbara was a faithful member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township, where she was active in the Women’s Club, Women Gathered, the comfort blanket ministry, and attended Bible study. She was also active in the Cranberry Township 55+ Group.
Barbara enjoyed babysitting for families in the community, whose children she loved like her own. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Lawrence W. Weiser, with whom she celebrated over 50 years of love; her daughters, Michelle (Billy) Ruth of Cranberry Township, and Amy (Gary) Wilson of Shaler Township; her three grandchildren, Nolan and Jaxon “Ricky” Ruth, and Avery Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith W. Weiser; and her brother, Robert Rose.
WEISER — Friends of Barbara Jean Weiser, who died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.
She will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to help support the family with funeral expenses c/o Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home.
