Mars Area High School Student Council will hold a “drive-thru” trick-or-treat night from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.

All four of the Mars Area School District schools will participate in the event, in which parents and children can travel from school to school to acquire free candy.

This is a change from the district’s typical yearly at-school trick-or-treating, during which children could traverse the hallways and classrooms at the high school. Student council opted for the drive-thru event this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trick-or-treaters are asked to remain in their vehicles and to follow the established route posted on the district’s website.
