CRANBERRY TWP — Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and Benjamin Marcus Homes broke ground in late August on a 22-home development located in the woods off Ehrman Road.

The development, called Eagle Ridge, is described as an “estate-style community,” with each house designed distinctively and given panoramic vistas.

That, according to the developer, is made possible by its design of the development, which uses roads to give each house a location on a cul-de-sac.

Lots range in size from one half to more than an acre.

Even before a house has been built on the site, one house is already under contract. Also among the first lots to be built will be a model home, which Howard Hanna says will feature the stone-and-brick facade of the houses and the “high-end” interiors.

This is Benjamin Marcus’ first development in the Cranberry area, having done much of its work in Marshall Township or the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Howard Hanna similarly markets much of its other developments.

“We’re proud to once again partner with a distinguished builder to create a vibrant and luxurious community within Cranberry Township,” Howard Hanna chairman Hoddy Hanna said in a news release.
