The State Department of Environmental Protection is asking motorists to complete its annual highway- safety traffic survey.
The survey is available on PennDOT’s website, PennDOT.gov/safety.
Results of the statewide survey are used to gauge participants’ attitudes on highway safety and potentially allow PennDOT to adjust safety activities to further reduce crashes and fatalities.
The survey, which is available through Aug. 17, takes about five minutes.
Among the nearly 10,000 motorists who took last year’s survey, nearly 91 percent reported always wearing a seat belt and 89 percent said they never drive while impaired.
