Richard B. Weber, 77, of Zelienople, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, while under the care of the Family Hospice in Lawrenceville.
Born May 14, 1943, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Charles William Weber and Mildred Smith Weber of Bellevue and North Hills.
Richard was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles N. Weber (Elaine).
Rich was a graduate of Bellevue High School, Class of 1961, and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree at Duquesne University School of Journalism.
He participated in the ROTC program and was a four-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of captain. He worked in public relations and later as a self-employed contractor.
Rich was a dog lover and sadly lost his good pal, Mikey the Cavalier, last month. He loved his boating days on the river, going out to lunch, the Steelers, and his 1982 red Corvette!
Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 49 years, Carole Miller Weber, whom he married on July 10, 1971.
He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
WEBER — In accordance with the family’s wishes, services are private for Richard B. Weber, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
