ZELIENOPLE — Zelienople Area Public Library will hold the following activities in October:

- At 5 p.m. Oct. 22, a team from the Carnegie Science Center will present an interactive program on “Water Pollution” for kids ages 6 to 12 and their families. Children of all abilities welcome.

- “Pushing the Limits” reading, viewing and discussion series for adults and teens continues from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 26 with the topic of “Motion.” At each session a local science partner will join the group as they discuss the topic and related book choice and view a short video. This series, made possible by a grant by the National Science Foundation, will continue in November. October’s book choice is “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes and copies can be signed out at the library, though it is not necessary to have read the book before the discussion.
