ZELIENOPLE — Each year, thousands of educators, caregivers and aging adults across the country focus their efforts on one goal: preventing falls. Lutheran SeniorLife will do the same with its Fall Prevention Awareness Day event on Sept. 23.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. on Passavant Community’s campus, 105 Burgess Drive, in the Abundant Life Center and will finish at 4 p.m. at St. John Specialty Care Center, 500 Wittenberg Way, Mars, in the chapel.
Activities will focus on fall prevention education with informational speakers, classes, community vendors, walker and cane fittings and giveaways. This event is free and open to the public.
