Football camp on tap at SV

JACKSON TWP — The Raider Pride Football Camp, hosted by Seneca Valley High School players and coaches, takes place July 16 at NexTier Stadium.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon and is for players entering grades 2-8. Cost is $25 and drinks, lunch and a t-shirt will be provided to all campers.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Fieldhouse. Deadline to register is Sunday.

SV hosting volleyball camp

JACKSON TWP — A volleyball camp for girls entering grades 7-9 will be held July 30 to Aug. 1 at Seneca Valley's Ryan Gloyer Middle School.

The camp will run 9 a.m. to noon each day.

The 2011 and 2016 WPIAL champion Seneca Valley coaches will provide instruction, with assistance from returning high school players.

Campers, who are encouraged to bring knee pads and water, will be split up by age and ability. The cost is $125 if pre-registration is received before July 24 or $135 at the door.

No previous experience is necessary. Early registration is recommended.

Hoop camp set for Graham Park

CRANBERRY TWP — Graham Park will host a basketball camp for boys and girls entering grades 3-9.

It will take place 9 to 11:30 a.m., Aug. 5-8.

The camp will feature an advanced practice setting which will enhance and develop skills at an age-appropriate level.

Greg Cercone, national shooting expert, will lead the offensive side.

Current La Roche University assistant men's coach Victor Giannotta will drill the defense individually and progress toward an intense team concept. Cost is $115.
