Genealogy Club kicks off year with meetings

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Genealogy Club will kick off 2019 with two upcoming meetings.

At 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, a genealogy roundtable will be held in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center council chambers. Attendees are asked to share stories of their own genealogy.

At 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27, a look at what’s new in 2019 with FamilySearch will be held in the Cranberry Public Library’s Franklin Station Room. Attendees will learn how to access FamilySearch at the library as well as the Cranberry Family History Center.

Ryan Henrie, history center director, will use demonstration and case studies to illustrate how to access various collections on FamilySearch, new features for displaying ancestry and ways to explore and search with greater research success.
