Cranberry Area Diversity Network workshop to examine religion

CRANBERRY TWP - A workshop on aimed at examining various religions and promoting understanding of those beliefs is scheduled for later this month.

From 1-4 p.m. Jan. 27, the Cranberry Area Diversity Network will hold a free, family-friendly workshop designed to strengthen understanding of religious differences within the community. Representatives from the Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic and Jewish communities will be on hand to explain the fundamentals of their belief systems and answer questions from those attending.

The program, visualized as the inaugural meeting of a series called “Come Together,” will be held in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center’s Council Chambers.
