“Learn to Swim” offered this fall

JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley Swim Club is offering a Learn to Swim program this fall.

Lessons are available Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings during October. Fees are $75 for a group lesson, $30 for a private lesson, $40 for semi-private (must be two children).

Introduction to Swim team at SV

JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley Swim Club is putting together an Introduction to Swim Team group.

The program runs from 6 to 6:40 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through March 27, at the Intermediate High School Pool. Monthly rate is $90.

Pioneer golfers win WPCC crown

Luke Ostermeyer finished second individually with an 85-82-167 and the Butler County Community College golf team won its sixth consecutive Western Pa. Collegiate Conference championship at The Links at Spring Church over the weekend.

The Pioneers carded a 701 as a team. Tyler Johnson shot a 174, Mars grad Tom Schall a 176.

Dodgeball tourney slated next month

BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a co-ed dodgeball tournament Nov. 3 at the Butler Township dek hockey rink.

Each team has a 10-player maximum roster limit and must provide at least one referee for tourney games they are not playing.

Every player must fill out a medical waiver to play. Team registrations may be submitted at the Alameda Park office.
