JACKSON TWP — The planning commission recommended approval of the plans for a new warehouse on Tomlinson Road at its Wednesday meeting.

The building will be constructed and owned by Al Neyer, a real estate development, construction, design, and project management services company based in Cincinnati and with offices in Pittsburgh.

The structure will be a 220,000-square-foot, multi-tenant warehouse building that will lease space to companies around the area, said Brandon Snyder, vice president of real estate development at Al Neyer.

They have yet to line up any companies, he said.

At the meeting, representatives from Al Neyer explained the extensive care taken to address any concerns about drainage and water management, including a pond to store excess water.

The company is requesting a waiver to an ordinance that would require it to install sidewalks as the area it is developing is already served by sidewalks.

The plans will now go to the township supervisors for consideration.
