Free cyber security forum offered

CRANBERRY TWP — A cyber security forum for business owners and executives will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12 at the Doubletree by Hilton Cranberry on Sheraton Drive.

The free presentation, Cyber Security: Are You Prepared?, will highlight why data breaches happen and how businesses can shield themselves from attacks that could force a shutdown or lose valuable business credibility.

A free continental breakfast and refreshments will be served.

Masons continue ox roast tradition

ZELIENOPLE — The Harmony Masonic Lodge will hold its annual Labor Day ox roast from noon to 6 p.m. Monday in Zelienople Community Park.

The menu will include roast beef, corn, baked beans, coleslaw and dessert.

Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12 years old. Children younger than 5 eat for free.

Ultimate Zelie Challenge slated

ZELIENOPLE — The Ultimate Zelie Challenge will be held Saturday. Registration at 10 a.m.

The competition includes obstacle courses and 10 challenge events. The title of Ultimate Challenge Champion will be awarded to the top three male and female entries earning the most points.

Age group awards and challenge awards also will be given.

Age groups range from 4-to-5-year-olds to 60 and older.

All participants will receive a T-shirt, a prize bag with refreshments.

Pooch Plunge held at swimming pool

ZELIENOPLE — The Dog Days of Summer Pooch Plunge will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Zelienople swimming pool.

Admission is $5 per dog.

The pool will be closed for people. Smaller dogs can enjoy their own dedicated swimming area at the baby pool.

Proof of vaccination is required.
