CRANBERRY TWP — A Jackson Township man is facing charges after allegedly forcing his way into a young girl's home and refusing to leave.

Dale Charles Rohrman Jr., 24, is charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after an incident on July 14 at the Cranberry Pointe apartment complex off Haine School Road. Rohrman waived all charges to county court last Friday, and he'll be arraigned Sept. 12.

Cranberry Township Police responded on July 14 to a report of a shirtless and shoeless white male who appeared to be highly intoxicated stumbling across the sidewalk, rolling in the grass and knocking on random doors on Cranberry Pointe Lane.

When an officer arrived, Rohrman ran into a nearby apartment and shut the front door behind him.

The residents did not know Rohrman or invite him in, court papers said.

Rohrman posted $1,500 bail on Aug. 1 and was released from Butler County Prison.

A full report will appear in the Cranberry Eagle.
