BUTLER — The criminal trial for former Cranberry Township EMS director Steve Frank Tedesco, who is accused of raping an unconscious man at a house party, has been delayed until March 19.

Tedesco, 30, was charged with indecent assault, indecent assault of an unconscious person and with providing alcohol minors for the events that occurred at a party in Evans City last March.
The trial was originally scheduled for Monday before Butler County Court Judge Timothy McCune.
Tedesco’s attorney Michael Jewart from Zunder and Associates in Butler had filed for the continuance. The trial is now scheduled for 9 a.m. March 19.
Tedesco was suspended without pay following the arrest, and later fired. The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company also suspended him from the department.
