ADAMS TWP — In the Mars offense, the fullback gets most of the carries and yards.

But the wingbacks are as vital to the team as any other position.
Planets coach Scott Heinauer said he believes he has two capable playmakers there this season.
Seniors Seth Geyer and Josh Pinkerton will start Friday when Mars opens the season at Moon.
As juniors in 2009, Geyer totaled 319 yards on 63 carries and scored four touchdowns while Pinkerton carried the ball seven times for 43 yards.
"Seth started at wingback last season," said Heinauer. "Josh didn't start, but got a lot of playing time.
"Both of them are going to be asked to block, but they'll get some carries as well," he added. "When Austin (Miele) needs a rest, we'll put Seth in at fullback."
Senior Eric Guzak will start at quarterback.
As for who will be blocking for the backs, a few questions still need to be answered on the Planets' offensive front.
Seniors Dylan Bear, Cameron Cress and A.J. Rodriguez will start at right guard, right tackle and left tackle, respectively.
But left guard, center and tight end are still up for grabs.
"Those battles will carry into this Friday's game," said Heinauer. "We'll be playing several kids at those positions and looking for someone to seize the opportunity.
"We've seen progress on the line the last week or so. We've found some stability and that's a big factor, but we're still not where we need to be."
Friday's game will mark the third consecutive season the Planets have opened against Moon.
Mars won in 2008 (35-0) and 2009 (24-7).
Since defeating Elizabeth Forward in the final game of the 2007 season, Moon has lost 18 straight games, getting outscored last season 212-63.
"They scrimmaged Keystone Oaks last weekend and from what I hear, they got a lot better," said Heinauer. "A key for us is going to be getting on top early in the game."
