ZELIENOPLE — Patrick Coyne, 18, of Zelienople Boy Scout Troop 457 was presented the rank of Eagle Scout on Aug. 15 at English Lutheran Church in Zelienople.

Patrick is the son of Robert and Margaret Coyne of Beaver Falls and Dana Coyne and John Kuhn of Portersville. He is the grandson of Robert and Florence Coyne of Beechview and Charles and Sonja Allen of Newport News, Va.
Patrick has been involved in Scouting since fourth grade.
For his Eagle project, he planned, organized and helped execute a project to design and build shelters on the Eden Christian Academy soccer field.
Patrick is a 2010 graduate of Eden Christian Academy and will attend Washington University in St. Louis to study premedicine. He is a National Merit finalist and a second degree black belt in tae kwon do.
He is a member of New Community Church in Wexford, where he served in the Sunday school for four years.
