Mathew Jewelers is hosting a fashion-themed fundraiser for the Strand Theater on Friday. The "Diamonds and Divas!" festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. at Mathew Jewelers, located at 122 N. Main St. and end across the street with the Strand Theater premier of the movie "Sex and the City." The pre-movie celebration at the jewelry store will feature an art show featuring art from the Bottlebrush Gallery of Harmony, a runway modeling show showcasing the work of a local fashion designer, as well as jewelry from the store. The movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission to the film requires at least a $5 donation to the theater, with larger donations encouraged.
