Miracle League sign-ups started
CRANBERRY TWP — Registration for the 2010 Miracle League of Western Pennsylvania is under way at www.mlswpa.org.
The Miracle League provides special needs children and adults an opportunity to play baseball. A youth competitive division and an adult division are being added this year.
Volunteers for the league are sought as well. Minimum age to volunteer is 12. Visit www.mlswpa.org/game/registration.asp for information.

District to offer sports physicals
ADAMS TWP — Mars School District will offer physicals for spring sports at the following times on Thursday: at 8 a.m. at Mars Middle School and 1 p.m. at Mars High School. Cost is $15 per student.
The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association process and forms required for athletic physicals have changed. All student athletes are required to undergo one comprehensive physical evaluation per year.

Sports groups set registrations
• CRANBERRY TWP — The Seneca Valley Junior Football Association of Cranberry Township will hold football and cheerleading registration in the Senior-Teen Room of the township's municipal center at the following times and dates: from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 6 and 13, and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 10.

• CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Township Athletic Association's registration for youth leagues for baseball, girls slow-pitch softball and girls fast-pitch softball has begun and can be done online or by mail.
Deadline for T-ball, Pinto baseball and Farm softball is March 31. Deadline for all other youth leagues is set for Sunday.

• EVANS CITY — The Evans City Athletic Association continues to accept online and mail-in applications for its baseball and softball programs.
Boys age 5 to 14 and girls age 5 to 18 are eligible to sign up for play, which begins in April. Forms are available at: www.eccaa.net
The organization is especially looking for more 5- and 6-year-old boys and girls to sign up for the T-ball program.

• EVANS CITY — The Seneca Valley Junior Football Association North will hold sign-ups at 6 p.m. March 25 and April 8 in the Evans City Elementary School cafeteria.
Physicals for players will be available March 26 only.
